BULLI

delle

brughiere

Bulli delle Brughiere is an amateur breeding kennel of French Bulldogs, driven by passion and dedication to the care and upbringing of our puppies. Our absolute priority is the health of our dogs: all breeding adults undergo strict screening for major congenital conditions, such as patellar dysplasia, spinal defects, and cardiac anomalies, in addition to genetic tests aimed at preventing the transmission of hereditary diseases such as hyperuricosuria, hereditary cataracts, multifocal retinopathy, and degenerative myelopathy.

We have been breeding French Bulldogs for over twenty years, and every day this extraordinary breed continues to captivate us with its unique character. Our puppies are born and raised within our home, in a calm, safe, and family-oriented environment. This constant interaction with people helps develop a balanced, sociable, and affectionate temperament—qualities that make our French Bulldogs ideal life companions.

The doors of Bulli delle Brughiere are always open: we warmly welcome anyone who wishes to meet our puppies and share in the passion for this remarkable breed.

WHY MAKE SURE

THAT THE PARENTS

ARE TESTED

When looking for a dog to be included in the family, one often makes the mistake of not asking whether the parents are tested to certify their suitability for reproduction.
Many do not know that sick puppies can be born from two healthy parents and unfortunately the worst diseases do not occur during the first years of life and are more likely to give problems in adulthood.
In fact, if one parent carries a gene of a genetic disease one or more puppies may be affected by it.
Testing can prevent this from happening. Of course these checks have a considerable cost and therefore we think it is right to trust those who make this necessary investment.(cosa vuol dire)
When you buy a puppy, you shouldn’t just think about how much it costs you, but also how much it might cost you to take care of them if they get sick. Those who already have dogs know the burden of veterinary care which is often more expensive than human care, especially because you can’t get government financial help so it’s important to at least make sure they don’t have any pre-existing condition. Also, we want to avoid any physical (of your dog) and emotional (mainly yours) suffering that is faced when your furry child is diagnosed with a serious illness.

The Rainbow Breeders Group requires its members to test all their breeding animals to verify the presence of potential structural or genetic diseases inheritable from their children.
The issues tested are:
Patellar dysplasia (limb problems)
Spinal defects (Onset of hernias or neurological problems)
Cardiac abnormalities
Hereditary Cataract (Eye problem)
Type 1 multifocal retinopathy (eye problem)
Degenerative myelopathy (neurological problem)
Hyperuricosuria (Urinary tract problem)
